Storm and water damage rebuild in Houston
After the water is out and the house is dry, we rebuild: drywall, insulation, cabinets, floors and baths, often better than before.
Quick answer: We rebuild Houston homes after flood, storm or plumbing-leak damage once water mitigation and drying are complete. We work from your insurance adjuster’s scope, document everything with photos, and check whether a flood-damaged home in the floodplain falls under substantial-damage rules before rebuilding.

- Walkthrough with your adjuster’s scope and moisture readings

Storm & water damage rebuild projects we build
Flood rebuilds
After a flood, drywall is usually cut out to a few feet above the water line and replaced once studs are dry. We can use moisture-resistant materials low on the walls.
Plumbing-leak repairs
Slab leaks and failed supply lines can ruin floors and cabinets. We rebuild after the plumber repairs the leak and the area is dried.
Storm damage
Wind and fallen-tree damage to walls, ceilings and patio covers. We coordinate with your roofer if the roof was hit.
Rebuild order after water damage
- Mitigation company removes water and wet materials and dries the structure
- Moisture readings confirm framing is dry
- Adjuster finalizes the scope; we price any upgrades separately
- Permits if required, then rebuild and inspections
Substantial damage in the floodplain
If a home in a mapped floodplain is damaged and repairs would cost 50% or more of its market value, it is considered substantially damaged and must be brought up to current floodplain rules, which can mean elevation. Ask about Increased Cost of Compliance coverage on your flood policy.

Questions about storm & water damage rebuild
Do you do water extraction and drying?
No. A mitigation company removes water and dries the house first. We rebuild once moisture readings confirm it is dry.
Can you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We work from the adjuster’s scope, document the work with photos and quote any upgrades separately so your claim stays clean.
What is substantial damage?
In a mapped floodplain, damage where repairs cost 50% or more of the home’s market value. The home must then meet current floodplain rules.
